Members of the
Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts will vote on Sunday to fill two council seats.
Five candidates are in the running, The Cape Cod Times reported. They are: Patricia "Trish" Keliinui, an incumbent; Martin "Bruzzy" Hendricks, a former council member; Charles "Bobby" Foster and Michelle Hughes-Fernandes, who ran for council last year but lost; and Laura Miranda, a first-time candidate.
The council has 13 seats -- 11 for elected positions and two for traditional chief and medicine man.
