San Manuel Band makes largest-ever donation to cancer center

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians has donated $3 million to the Loma Linda University Cancer Center in California.
The donation is the largest in the center's history. The money will be used to develop a new oncology center and a new laboratory.
The center will be called the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Medical Oncology Center and the lab will be called the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Biospecimen Laboratory.
Including this donation, the tribe has contributed $4.5 million to the center.
