The Red Lake,
Leech Lake and
White Earth bands of Ojibwe are meeting this week to discuss education and language preservation.
The Red Lake Nation is hosting the two-day summit. It will conclude with the signing of an education agreement by the three tribes.
“I think it’s a huge benefit for all of us, sharing, cooperating and working together, Dan King, the president of the
Red Lake Nation College, told The Bemidji Pioneer.
