Friday, January 7, 2011
The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut has fired the chief judge of its court.
Thomas Weissmuller said he was let go this week but wasn't given a reason. "I was just thanked for my dedicated service as chief judge," he told The New London Day.
Weissmuller served as chief judge since 2005. Two other judges remain on the court.
