A Boys & Girls Club on the
Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana has received a $143,000 grant.
The money came from the
Paul G. Allen Family Foundation. It will be used to rehabilitate the club's heating and air conditioning system and pay for an after-school food program.
“We're very appreciative that we got the grant,” executive director Geri Small told The Billings Gazette. “It's a big need to keep our doors open for our kids and for the community.”
