Sen. Lisa Murkowski to deliver response to State of Indian Nations

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) will deliver the response to the State of Indian Nations on Thursday.

Murkowski will speak after National Congress of American Indians President Jefferson Keel delivers the SOIN address. The tentative schedule follows:

10:30 AM - State of Indian Nations Address
10:50 AM - Response from Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska)
11:00 AM - Question & Answer/Press Availability

Murkowski was the first woman and the first Alaskan to serve as vice chair of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee.
