The state of Oklahoma seized tobacco from a delivery van believed to be owned by the Muscogee Nation, The Tulsa World reported.

The van was carrying cigarettes without state tax stamps, according to the Oklahoma Tax Commission. More than $150,000 worth of tobacco products were seized, the paper said.

"The cigarettes are deemed contraband," a spokesperson for the commission told the paper.

The tribe has declined to enter into a tobacco tax agreement with the state.
