The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear an appeal from the Miccosukee
Tribe of Florida.
The tribe fought for years to prevent the Florida Water Management District from pumping polluted water into the Everglades.
But the 11th Circuit Court of
Appeals said a new Enviromental Protection Agency regulation permits the activity.
The tribe is based in the Everglades.
