FBI reports multiple guns fired during shootout on Red Lake Nation
Five young men, all apparently armed, were involved in a fatal shootout on the Red Lake Nation in Minnesota, according to the FBI.

Julian DeMarrias, Jerrick DeMarrias and Orland Spears, all brothers, were traveling in one car with three firearms when they encountered Donald Leigh Clark Jr. and Cruze White, who were were in another vehicle with at least two firearms.

Spears told the FBI that he and his brothers motioned for Clark and White to follow them. He said he and his brothers intended to shoot Clark and White.

After the cars stopped, Julian DeMarrias got out of his car with a firearm, according to an eyewitness. Clark and White then emerged from their vehicle and apparently fired the first shots, according to the witness.

Julian DeMarrias, 22, was shot six times and he identified Clark as the shooter to the FBI before succumbing to his injuries. Jerrick DeMarrias and Orland Spears, both 19, were injured and treated.

Clark, 22, fled the scene and has been charged with one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He has not been located.

White has not been charged but is considered a person of interest. He has not been located either.
