The 28th annual Native American Fish and Wildlife Society was held on the Nez Perce Reservation in Idaho this past week.

Tribal representatives met to discuss fish and wildlife issues in Indian Country. Salmon and water were among the major topics.

"The goal of the conference is to bring tribes, people together to talk about how things can be done better," Board president Joe Jay Pinkham III told KLEW-TV. "To keep people talking at a grassroots level so things can become better."
