A Metis activist and his partner are dead in what authorities in Alberta say is a murder-suicide case.
Ronald Stuart Jones, 61, is believed to have killed Corinne Nicole Sellhorn, 34. Their bodies were found on a rural property on Sunday.
Jones was a Metis activist who challenged the province over its hunting laws. He was part of a lawsuit that sought to secure Metis hunting rights but the case has not gone to trial.
