A member of the Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians of Michigan has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident.
The man reportedly fired a shotgun in front of the tribal center in the early morning hours on Wednesday. No one was injured but the tribal office, the day care center and a school were closed for the rest of the day.
"The Lac Vieux Desert community was on lockdown,” Gogebic County Sheriff Pete Matonich told WLUC-TV.
