Forrestina "Frosty" Calf Boss Ribs, a member of the Blackfeet Nation, is running for re-election to the Montana House.
Calf Boss Ribs, 55, was first elected in 2008. She will face Republican Joe Read, a tribal firefighter, on November 2.
Both candidates cite their tribal dealings in response to questions from The Great Falls Tribune. Montana House District 15 covers part of the Blackfeet Reservation.
