The Obama administration's handling of the Deepwater Horizon spill in the Gulf of Mexico is being compared to George Armstrong Custer and Little Big Horn.

"It's a little bit like Custer. He underestimated the number of Indians that were on the other side of the hill and he paid the ultimate price for that," former Sen. Bob Graham, the co-chairman of Oil Spill Commission, said at a press conference on Monday.

Graham said the administration underestimated the extent of the spill and gave out inaccurate information to the public.
