"Wouldn't it be cool to be friends with some tribal aboriginal people somewhere in Australia or Africa or South America? Maybe you have a friend that is related to aborigines and he took you to visit them and stay a week and they were truly beautiful people who changed your outlook on life, they also took a shine to you and invited you back next year. For this hypothetical we will also assume we are not concerned with the price of the gifts. What would you bring them from our world?
Camelbak Backpack
It's a backpack that's a hybrid of a backpack and a watterbottle. The straw goes over your shoulder strap and into your mouth while you run, bike, walk, tailgate, etc. I live in a global metropolis and I was blown away when I saw a Camelbak for the first time while jogging along between the beach and Lake Shore Drive. Imagine how surprised an aboriginal hunter and gatherer in an airid place would be. He'd be so stoked.
Cookware and Flatware
Not a sexy gift, but functional. Hehe. Butt functional. Now they could fry and boil stuff which would totally revolutionize and expand their cuisine. Using flatware would probably make eating a bit more convenient and maybe even more sanitary. Potential negative aspect of giving them this gift: You could be enabling latent "Cutters" who didn't have the necessary equipment before. Didn't think of that one, didja?
