The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday said the Miccosukee Tribe cannot challenge a bridge project in the Everglades of Florida.
Congress passed an appropriations bill with a rider that exempted the bridge from environmental, historic preservation and other laws.
As a result, the court said it lacked jurisdiction to hear the tribe's claims.
The tribe is based in the Everglades.
