The Navajo Nation Supreme Court has barred the president of
Dine College from taking any actions pending resolution of a lawsuit.
But turmoil continues at the institution, The Farmington Daily Times reported. Five staff and faculty have been fired since the start of the school year, including one who was terminated on Monday -- after the court issued its injunction against President Ferlin Clark.
The Dine College regents suspended Clark with pay in January amid allegations of misusing his position and retaliating against employees. But he has apparently been making decisions at the school.
Jack Jackson has been named acting president.
