The United Tribes of North Dakota are hosting their 14th annual summit this week in Bismarck.
The event kicks off today with speeches from Gov. John Hoeven (R) and Rep. Earl Pomeroy (D).
Jodi Archambault-Gillette, a White House official, is also on the agenda.
The summit runs through Friday and will be followed by the United Tribes International Powwow at the United Tribes Technical College on Saturday.
