Mato Nanji, the guitarist for Indigenous, will perform at a fundraiser for the Marty Indian School in South Dakota, his alma mater.
Nanji is raising funds for the school's sports teams. The school ran out of money because the Yankton Sioux Reservation was hit by major rains and flooding this summer.
"I grew up there and went to school there,” Nanji told The Yankton Press and Dakotan. “That’s one of the reasons why I said I would love to do (the concert).”
Nanji is leaving for a tour of Europe later this week.
