The Chickasaw Nation has contributed $360,000 to national political groups since January 2009, The Oklahoman reports.
The tribe donated
more than $133,000 to the Democratic Governors Association and $125,000 to the Republican Governors Association
Another $100,000 went to the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee.
"A working gov-ernment-to-government relationship is integral to achieving our mission of enhancing the overall quality of life of Chickasaw people,”
Gov. Bill Anoatubby said in a statement to the paper.
