A federal judge plans to issue a decision today in a dispute between the Miccosukee
Tribe of Florida and the Internal Revenue Service.
The tribe is refusing to turn over financial records to the IRS. The records are related to spending by former chairman Billy Cypress.
The IRS is trying to get the information as part of a probe into whether Cypress paid federal income taxes.
