Lisa Marie Iyotte, a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, introduced President Barack Obama at the signing of the Tribal
Law and Order Act on July 29, 2010.
According to the White House, Iyotte is the education specialist
at the Sicangu Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence, where she speaks out on behalf of victimized Native American and Alaska Native women.
The coalition's focus is to "Educate the Youth the Stop the Violence!"
She is an enrolled member of the White Clay People, her father's tribe, but grew
up and lives as a Sicangu Lakota. Ms. Iyotte is blessed with three children and one Takoja (grandchild).
