A man from the Navajo Nation faces murder and assault charges in connection with a shooting incident on the reservation.
Clay Mann, 25, is charged with murder in the second degree for allegedly shooting and killing Ames Jim Jr., 36. He is charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to do great bodily harm for shooting and injuring Paula Nez, 43, and Mark Bolding, 48.
The incident took place around 4am on Saturday, July 24. It began after Mann and Nez, who live next to each other, became involved in a dispute outside Nez's home in Shiprock, New Mexico.
