Two men from the Yakama Nation of Washington pleaded guilty for their roles in an eagle poaching case.
Alfred L. Hawk, Jr. and William R. Wahsise, both 23, admitted they killed bald and golden eagles on the reservation. They sold the eagle feathers and parts for use in ceremonies and other events.
Wahsise and Hawk were arrested in March 2009 as part of a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service investigation. Two other men were also arrested at the time.
Hawk and Wahsise will be sentenced October 13.
