A tip led to the seizure of $3.5 million worth of marijuana plants that were grown on a Indian allotment in Oklahoma.
The exact location was not specified but Kiowa County Sheriff Russ Tate said the marijuana was found near Carnegie, where the Kiowa Tribe is based. The land was most likely an Indian allotment and not tribal-owned land, although no information was reported.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs and local agencies conducted the raid. Tate said officers pulled up 7,700 plants.
