The Environmental Protection Agency will hold two conference calls to discuss its tribal consultation policy.
The first call takes place Wednesday, June 30, from 3pm to 4:30pm Eastern Time.

Administrator Lisa P. Jackson announced the creation of the Office of International and Tribal Affairs at the National Congress of American Indians winter session earlier this year. She said grouping tribes with international efforts at EPA respects their sovereignty.
Previously, tribal issues were handled by the American Indian Environmental
Office, within the EPA Office
of Water.
