The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians of Minnesota holds a general election on June 8 to choose a district representative.
Incumbent Sandra Shabiash will face Russ Northrup for the District II-Sawyer seat on the business committee.
Shabiash has represented the district for the past four years.
The primary was held in April. Secretary-treasurer Ferdinand Martineau won nearly 60 percent of the vote and didn't have to participate in the general election because he won over 51 percent of the vote.
