Tribal Leaders Forum scheduled for June 9-10 in California
The American Indian Resources Institute is hosting the Tribal Leaders Forum on June 9-10 on the Pechanga Reservation in California.
Tribal leaders will discuss the U.S. Supreme Court, land-into-trust, the federal-tribal relationship and other issues at the conference. Sen. Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii) is scheduled to deliver a video message on Wednesday, June 9, and former Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R-Montana) will deliver some remarks on Thursday, June 10.
The forum takes place at the Pechanga Resort & Casino. A similar event took place there last year.
