Tohono O'odham Nation arrests ten for large drug operation
The Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona arrested 10 people in connection with a large drug operation on the reservation. The tribe led the investigation. It was the first case in which the tribe executed federal warrants, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Arizona said. Eight tribal members were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. They face charges in federal court. A ninth tribal member was arrested on a marijuana possession charge in tribal court. A 10th person who is not a tribal member was arrested for an outstanding state warrant. Get the Story:
