The treasurer of the Colorado River Indian Tribes is facing another recall effort.
Dennis Welsh Jr. was recalled in an election on December 31, 2009. He was re-elected in March but Vinton Tahbo filed a another recall petition last month.
"The second recall by Vinton Tahbo has once again proven to be a personal vendetta against me as an individual and not as a CRIT councilman," Welsh said in a statement to The Parker Pioneer.
Tahbo has until June 15 to collect enough signatures for a recall election.
