Coushatta vice chairman to attend 'Casino Jack' screening

David Sickey, the vice chairman of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana, will attend a screening of "Casino Jack and the United States of Money" a documentary about corrupt lobbyist Jack Abramoff, in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.

Sickey was on the tribal council when he raised concerns about Abramoff's high fees and lobbying activities. He provided documents to a local paper, whose stories helped lead to the investigation and eventual prosecution of Abramoff.

The screening takes place at the Newseum. Also slated to attend is Tom Rodgers, a lobbyist and a member of the Blackfeet Nation of Montana who has taken credit for bringing down Abramoff.
