The Morongo Band of Mission Indians donated $20,000 to the Sun Lakes Country Club Charitable Trust.
The money was contributed for Charity Week, an annual fundraising campaign that helps charities in the San Gorgonio Pass area.
"A major goal of the Morongo tribe has always been to be a good neighbor and friend to the community and our help is needed now more than ever," Chairman Robert Martin said in a press release, The Riverside Press-Enterprise reported.
