The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe of Nevada hopes a photo of the reservation that's featured on the Apple iPad brings more tourists, Chairman Mervin Wright said.
The photo, "Pyramid Lake (at Night)," was taken in 2004 by Richard Misrach. Neither the tribe nor Misrach knew it was selected by Apple until the iPad was released on April 3.
“We appreciate them recognizing the lake, or at least the landscape here,” Wright told The Reno Gazette-Journal.
Pyramid Lake is located entirely within reservation boundaries.
