A member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska and her son face murder charges in connection with the death of the woman's boyfriend.
Virginia T. Grant, 52, is charged with being an accessory to murder. Her son, Jeremy L. Grant, 21, is charged with first-degree murder and the use of a weapon to commit a felony.
The charges stem from the February 24 death of Paulo J. Rodriguez, 51. Authorities say Rodriguez was stabbed at the Grant residence in Grand Island, off the reservation.
The Grand Island Independent reported that Virginia's daughter, Janice Grant, is serving time in federal prison for murder. Janice Grant was found guilty of stabbing her boyfriend on the Omaha Reservation.
