A 41-year-old man was sentenced to 36 months in prison for sexual abuse of a minor on the Isabella Reservation of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe.
David E. Merrill pleaded guilty to the charge. He admitted to a 2001 incident in which he sexually abused a 13-year-old girl.
Merrill will serve two years of supervised release after his prison term.
