The Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota will inaugurate a new president and other leaders today.
John Yellow Bird Steele defeated outgoing president Theresa Two Bulls by 79 votes. Two Bulls challenged the results but was rebuffed in tribal court.
Yellow Bird Steele has served as chairman six times since 1992.
