Fox News erroneously claims Sitting Bull, the famous Lakota chief, "killed" Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer during the 1876 Battle of Little Bighorn.
Sitting Bull did not actually participate in the battle, according to historians. But Fox News was quick to single out Sitting Bull because President Barack Obama describes him as a "Sioux medicine man who healed broken hearts and broken promises" in a new book.
Several online commenters pointed out that Sitting Bull did not participate in the battle but Fox News has not corrected its story.
