South Dakota governor candidates promise to work with tribes
South Dakota's candidates for governor say they will work with tribes if they are elected.

Democrat Scott Heidepriem said he will establish a Cabinet-level position for Indian issues. He has also said he supports more gaming in the state.

Republican Dennis Daugaard said he will reach out to tribes. He has said he will sit down with tribes if they want to renegotiate their Class III compacts.
