A member of the Ute Tribe of Utah who was convicted for his daughter's death has been sentenced to a halfway house for violating the terms of his release.
Redd Rock Serawop, 31, was out on supervised release for the November 2002 death of Beyonce, his three-month-old daughter. He will serve 180 days in a halfway house for alcohol use violations, The Deseret News reported.
Serawop was initially convicted of voluntary manslaughter in December 2003 but the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals overturned. He pleaded guilty in December 2005 to the same charge and was sentenced to eight years.
He was released in May of this year. He appears to have served most of his prison sentence.
