Kewa Pueblo in New Mexico is trying to find housing for 66 people after their homes suffered major damage in a hail storm.
The tribe has surveyed 404 of about 600 homes on the reservation. Ninety-five percent suffered damage during the October 2 storm.
"Ten percent are unlivable and 50 percent are considered major damage," Kenny Pin, the tribe's planning director, told The Albuquerque Journal.
New Mexico Gov. Bill
Richardson (D) signed a disaster declaration for the reservation but the tribe is accepting donations through the Kewa Relief Fund at Wells Fargo bank.
