The Muscogee (Creek)
Nation donated to both Democratic candidates for governor in Oklahoma.
The tribe donated $2,000 to Attorney General Drew Edmondson and $2,000 to Lt. Gov. Jari Askins.
The two face off in a primary today.
The tribe is in a legal battle with the state over taxation of tobacco sold at smoke shops on Indian land.
