The Havasupai Tribe of Arizona reported an evacuation of about 160 people from the reservation after a flash flood on Monday.
Most of the people were tourists who were staying at a campground on the reservation. No injuries were reported.
Vice Chairman Edmond Tilousi said repairs will be made to a dam that was breached. The campground is closed for repairs and the tribe's website predicts a reopening next Monday, July 26.
The reservation is located at the bottom of Grand Canyon National Park.
