US Attorney in Arizona to discuss reservation crime
Dennis Burke, the U.S. Attorney for Arizona, will discuss crime and public safety in Indian Country at a media briefing tomorrow.

Burke will be joined by tribal leaders at the offices of the Intertribal Council of Arizona in Phoenix. The event takes place from 12pm-1pm.

Between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009, the office opened 468 cases in Indian Country. In the year prior, the office handled 487 cases in Indian Country.

Arizona is home to over 20 tribes.
