A woman from Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico faces numerous charges for causing a head-on collision that injured her 3-year-old daughter and another person, state police said.
Tyanne Ghahate, 28, was found passed-out behind the wheel, according to a press release. Her daughter suffered facial lacerations and the driver of the other car suffered a broken wrist and other injuries.
Ghahate faces charges of felony child abuse, driving while intoxicated, open container violations and other hazardous traffic infractions. Police said they found "multiple open
containers of alcoholic beverages."
