The Chief Cliff Singers, a drum group from the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of Montana, will perform at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. The group will sing February 19 at the Aboriginal Pavilion. “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in the Winter Olympic Games,” f leader Mike Kenmille told The Polson Leader Advertiser. “I didn’t hesitate to jump on.” The group is taking its 1,000-year-old drum to Canada.
