Two more inmates have escaped from a jail on the Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho, bringing the total of escapees in the last month to eight.
Joseph Deluna, 20, and Jerome Cerino, 20, were the latest to escape from the Old Fort Hall Jail. Six others escaped on April 17, an incident with which Cerino was also involved.
The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes have a new detention facility on the reservation. But the tribe can't use it until its correction officers complete training with the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
People on the reservation say the old jail is in such poor condition that it's easy to escape.
