Cities propose to add Coquille Tribe to area tourism board
Two Oregon cities agreed to add one slot to the Coos Bay-North Bend Visitor & Convention Bureau for the Coquille Tribe.

The tribe proposed two slots on the board in exchange for helping fund the bureau. Some officials questioned the idea but the cities eventually agreed to one tribal representative.

The tribe hasn't said whether it will agree to one slot on the board.
