The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will hold a hearing next Thursday, April 22, to discuss an Indian energy bill.
Sen. Dorgan (D-North Dakota), the chairman of the committee, released a draft discussion of the Indian Energy Promotion and Parity Act on March 12. The proposed bill addresses obstacles to Indian energy development, promotes Indian energy development and increases energy efficiency programs in Indian Country.
The hearing takes place at 2:15pm in Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building. A witness list hasn't been released.
