Interior Secretary Ken Salazar will present awards to the winning high school and college teams of the 2010 Indian Education Renewable Energy Challenge at a ceremony today in Washington, D.C.
Ten teams throughout Indian Country were each given $1,300 to design and build a small wind turbine system. One high school team and one tribal college team will have their winning designs displayed in DC.
Today's ceremony takes place at 11am in the South Interior Building Auditorium at 1951 Constitution Avenue NW.
