Tribal leaders from 42 Alaska Native villages are in Fairbanks for the annual Tanana Chiefs Conference.
The meeting began on Monday and runs through Thursday.
TCC President Jerry Isaac said alternative energy, subsistence, health and housing are among the main concerns of tribal leaders.
On Thursday, tribal leaders will hear from Gov. Sean Parnell (R), Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R), Sen. Mark Begich (D) and Rep. Don Young (R).
